Colleen Klinsky is an author and retired middle school English teacher from western Pennsylvania. She writes emotionally honest stories about resilience, reinvention, family, and the courage it takes to begin again when life doesn’t follow the expected plot.
Her writing has appeared in Memory Makers Magazine and Chicken Soup for the Scrapbooker’s Soul. She is the author of Postcards From Nowhere and Porch Swing Promises and is currently writing Status: Chosen, a suspense novel filled with secrets, fear, and the unsettling feeling that someone is always one step ahead.
When Colleen isn’t writing, she loves exploring new places with her husband, Don, a professional photographer. She is happiest discovering covered bridges, watching the wild horses of Assateague Island, attending concerts, or settling in for a true-crime marathon with Don and their much-loved pets—Pearl, Brynley, and Apollo.
Colleen believes some of the best chapters of our lives begin after we thought the story was already written.
